MEET MARCO
Marco is a certified IFMGA mountain guide with the Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides (ASEGUIM), and a member of the rescue team of the Ecuadorian Red Cross. In his more than 15 years of guiding, he has led more than 200 ascents of Cotopaxi and 40 ascents of Chimborazo. Over the course of five days in August 2011, he led the first sea-to-summit ascent of Cotopaxi. When he is not guiding, he is busy raising his two children with his wife, Cecilia.
